Our goal at Kids' Place
is to provide quality child care for school-age children. We
believe that children learn and develop new skills through a
variety of play experiences. During the school day, children
are engaged in many sitting and controlling activities.
Thus, at Kids' Place, we believe children need a chance to
exercise, relax and have freedom of choice.
Our curriculum is based on this philosophy and includes a
variety of both group and individual activities (structured and
non-structured), geared to age levels and abilities.
We strive to assist children in creating and maintaining a
positive self image, and encourage children to take responsibility
for themselves. Learning social skills, such as problem
solving and getting along with others, is also part of this
process.
